I bought this beautiful handmade lace wedding dress from the famous Lace Marry on Etsy. It is a strapless sweetheart neckline, trumpet style with a V-cut back and chapel-length train with real buttons (also zips) down the back to the bottom of the hips. The dress is everything I was looking for, but while it was being made, I got cold feet about only having a dress that I bought online and, at the urging of my mother, went dress shopping at a bridal salon near my hometown. This is where I fell in love with a similar Allure gown that was on sale and bought it (for $1000 more than this dress :( ). My love affair with the Allure gown could not be dampened by this dress, unfortunately, so I am selling the “China dress” as I have been calling it. The only time I put the gown on was to try it on in for the pictures posted here.
The lace is stunning; I included some close-up shots of it. The sash was purchased with the dress and would be included in the purchase. One of the best parts of the dress is how lightweight it is - great for dancing!
The gown was made based on my measurements, which are: Bust 37.5 inches Waist 30 inches Hips 43 inches Shoulder to waist 18 inches Shoulder to nipple 10.5 inches Shoulder to floor 61 inches
I am 5’4” and was wearing 3.5” heels for the measurement. I wear a street size 10, ordered my Allure gown in a size 14, am slightly pear-shaped, and wear a 36 C/34 D bra.
The dress and sash cost $472 in total with shipping. I am listing it for less than the actual cost of the dress only, which was $340, as I understand whoever purchases it will likely have to have it altered.
The dress had a small stain on the back when it arrived, as well as 1 torn button loop. I had the loop repaired, but the very tiny stain (pictured next to my finger for scale) remains.
